If you are shopping for homeowners insurance, I wanted to share that we found Lemonade to be significantly below some of the other typical insurance carriers. We’ve been with them for over a year now and are quite happy with their customer service. If your tech savvy, their app is straightforward and actually useful.

Their model is different, they take a flat fee to run the company (including profit) the remainder goes to claims. Whatever is leftover, they donate to a charity of your choice.
