Message from the TLMC Board Members to all Talahi Lake Members

To our Talahi Lake neighbors,

Before you take on an improvement to your property, we strongly recommend that you read through the Talahi Lake Estates covenants.  These covenants were established in the ’70s and are still in force today.  They primarily focus on structures such as fences, outbuildings, and docks.  They were meant to create a lake that present and future owners could use “for pleasure of themselves and their guests.”

By accepting the title to any Lot in the Estates, a property owner agrees to abide by these covenants.  We believe most of our residents are good neighbors and would not knowingly violate the agreements. Please be aware, it is not uncommon for litigation between neighbors to erupt over these restrictions resulting in unfortunate outcomes. The courts will typically require the defendant to strictly comply with the restrictive covenant by directing the removal of structures to conform to the subject restrictions.

In other words, by violating the covenants, our current residents could take on a significant liability for themselves or the future property owners.

To that end, the Board of Trustees discourages covenant violations from keeping our community beautiful and from protecting all our property values.  If you would like a copy of the covenants, please follow this link:  Covenants

Sincerely Yours,

Talahi Lake Board of Trustees
