I’m happy we don’t have the weeds like last June, but what’s with the pea soup color and theĀ pollen looking stuff floating on top of the water?

We are also wondering. It’s very thick in front of our dock at 540.
We are suspecting it is related to the heavy rainfall recently that washed lawn fertilizers into the lake.
It is extremely bad at our dock (11 Twelve Oaks) and has been like this for a 6-8 weeks.
We second this (12 Oaks Drive).
Hi Everyone, we spoke with Estates Management, our lake management company, on Friday. He asked us to send him some pictures and I took some last evening. It looks like most of it has pushed to the north finger of the lake. EM is due to be here Monday or Tuesday but I will let you know if he responds to my pictures over the weekend. He said the hot dry weather followed by a deluge is a perfect storm for algae blooms. Everyone is fertilizing their lawns right now and it ends up in the lakes/ponds, too.
