Did we ever find out what this is? If it’s sewage we need to have the water tested and EPA needs to be noticed. This Is a very serious situation. This post needs to be clarified better. One post says it’s sewage and another says it’s not. So which post is correct and what is it?
Randy, we have no indication that what was spotted was sewage. We had one lake member who alleged it may be sewage. One of our board members closely examined it and determined it was not sewage. I realize how potentially serious it would be if it had been sewage. Again there was no indication that it was sewage and have not heard any more concerns. Thank you for being a concerned lake member. Please call the board if you have any more concerns. Jimmy Hedrick, President TLMC
This was a septic problem a neighbor has since resolved.

I hope that the sludge goes away soon!
It might look bad, but it not septic waste.
