To Talahi Lake Members,
On Friday April 19th, Edge Aquatic Services will be stocking 2,500 Bluegill and 50 grass carp. We will try to post a specific time as we get closer to Friday delivery.
Bluegill stocking over the past 8 years is proving successful. There are some large resident Bluegill now that are producing much needed sustainable forage for the larger fish species, specifically largemouth bass.
Edge is strongly recommending all anglers keep the 10″-14″ bass. This will create larger size bass, a healthier fish population, and save us money on forage fish. For a bass to grow 1 lb, it must eat 8 lbs of forage fish!!
Stay tuned for another exciting lake fishing post coming your way!

Yes, the bluegill fish are doing well. My grandson has landed a few nice ones recently.
Ken caught a large one last week. There are some big ones out there!
Thanks Dave.
