  • Today, I went out with mask, snorkel and fins and dove around our dock and out towards the middle in about 12 ft to 14 ft of water and the bottom is covered with grass growing anywhere from 1 ft to 4 ft tall. You can go down to bottom and literally reach down and pull handfuls of long stringy grass up from any place on the bottom.
I suggest when the lake treatment team gets here for them to take a heavy yard rake and make a few pulls along the bank and see for themselves, it’s truly worst than I’ve seen it in 25 years. If we don’t get control of it now, this grass will take over and make the lake very undesirable.
